This notice explains how Logic Service Base handles personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Last updated 12 August 2026.

Data we collect from this website
If you send the enquiry form, we receive the name, organisation, email, telephone number, file-count note, and message you type. We use that information to reply and, if you instruct us, to prepare an engagement letter. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising lists.
Data inside application packs
When you send files for review, those packs usually contain personal data of applicants, lives assured, beneficiaries, and sometimes intermediaries — names, identity numbers, medical answers, financial figures, and contact details. We process that data only to perform the review you instructed, to write the findings memo, and to keep working papers for the period in the engagement letter.
We rely on your instruction as a licensed or authorised organisation that is entitled to disclose those packs to us for an independent review. You must not send packs you are not allowed to share.
Cookies
The site stores one local preference if you accept or reject the cookie banner, so the banner does not return every visit. See the cookie notice. Rejecting does not stop you from reading the site or sending an enquiry.
Sharing
We do not share application packs with other clients. We may share enquiry details with our own staff who need them to reply. We may disclose information if Malaysian law requires it. Hosting of this website may involve a processor who stores the static pages; the contact form posts to a static success file on this site and is not a third-party marketing tool.
Retention
Enquiry messages are kept for up to 24 months unless they become part of an engagement. Working papers and client packs are kept for the period in the engagement letter, then returned or destroyed as that letter states. Original paper is receipted on arrival and is not discarded without your written instruction.
Access and correction
You may ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask for correction, by writing to files@logicservicebase.digital. We may need to verify identity. Where the data sits inside a client’s application pack, we will usually direct the request to that client, who remains responsible for the pack.
Complaints
Write to us first. You may also contact the Personal Data Protection Department of Malaysia if you are not satisfied with our response.
