Primary engagement
New-business application file audit
A line-by-line reading of life, medical, motor, and fire application packs before bind, or in the first weeks after issue, to see whether the form, the proposal, and the attachments describe the same person and the same risk.
What we actually open
We sit with the application form, any broker cover sheet, identity copies, medical or financial attachments, and the underwriting note that went with the case. The job is not to re-underwrite the risk. It is to say, in writing, whether the pack is complete, internally consistent, and capable of being defended if the answers are later disputed.
How a sample is chosen
You tell us the book, the product lines, and the period. We agree a sample size and a mix of branches or producers. Random draws sit next to a handful of files you already worry about. We do not audit every file in a year unless you ask for that separately and the volume is small enough to finish.
What you receive
A findings memo in plain English, an exception list keyed to file numbers, and a short close-out conversation in person or on a call. We keep working papers for the period stated in the engagement letter. We do not load your files into a product, and we do not score producers with a dashboard.
Fee and timing
Quoted after file count and format. A 40-file mixed sample is typically RM 4,800–8,200.
Five to ten working days for a 40–60 file sample once packs are on our desk in Ipoh.
To start, send the product lines, an approximate file count, and whether packs will arrive as paper or PDF. We reply with a written scope before any files leave your office.
